I was surprised and saddened to see that Steve had passed. He was an old childhood friend who spent his life working for another childhood friend, D.R. Sapp of Florida Pest Control. We all lived in the same area of Gainesville and always were outdoors playing (our Moms enforced it in those days!). I'll remember Steve fondly, he was a good kid grown into a good man. Rest in peace, old friend.

Steve and I planned the Christmas party at FPC together for several years. I will always have memories of us riding around town together looking for the perfect poinsettias for the party. He will surely be missed by so many!!

Steven:
We last saw you at Dad's funeral in 2006. You stood up when I asked "how many here lived on 6th Terrace at one time?". You were the cutest little boy ever. You appear in many of our childhood photos. I am happy you lead a good life. Sorry we cannot be at your funeral. Our condolences to your family.
