We have known Mike for a very long time and have lots of happy memories. Like raising our children together in the 8o's,family trips in his dads car, weekends spent hanging out at grandma's house. His big beautiful smile when he greeted us with his famous "What Doing?" Can't forget his silly M C Hammer pants. Just some of the many things he did that put a smile on our faces. Our hearts and prayers go out to his beautiful family' Glad we were a part of them.

A year has passed already and though I go on with my daily life you are always in my thoughts. I felt your presence the other day and felt assured my day was a blessing. I know that we didn't see you as often as we would have liked but now I know you watch over all of us until we can be reunited in heaven. I hope you know just how much you were loved as a brother and son.

Well "Son", mom did say it best...she always has a way with words. It is hard to believe though that a year has passsed since you left us. I have tried for the past year to come up with the right words to say myself.
I believe that it has been so hard, because I wasn't prepared to say goodbye and I'm still not...as Grampa would always say "its not goodbye, just so long"!

Dear Son, it is almost a year now since you left this earth and your soul is resting with Jesus. You accomplished a lot in your short time here on earth. You left a legacy of three beautiful children, three beautiful grandchildren, and you left us with many, many beautiful memories. Not bad for a kid your age. Although i only knew Mike for a couple of years, i knew him as my best friend, and as a man who lived every day just as he wanted to,not worring so much about the future,but, rather reliving his youth.Mike had a great sense of humor,witty sarcasume and a big heart.
