Not sure what to say?

Dr. Mayor was always had a smile and wonderful sense of humor. While I was @ DHMC as a film hanger in Radiology, I had an occasion to see Dr. Mayor's humor. I backed up to give him and his Segway plenty of room as he was riding along in a highway. Dr. Mayor back up his Segway and smiled. He smiled saying, "Don't worry, if I break you, I can fix you." Off he went. We've been Blessed by a great man.

I remember looking next door -out the window - on Occom Ridge and exclaiming "Is that Michael on the porch roof with his snowblower?"

I have met Michael Mayor at Highland View Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio during an externship in medical school. I had traveled from Germany in order to learn about American Medicine and was assigned to Dr. Mayor. The three months spent with him were the highlight of my entire medical school experience! He encouraged me to return to the US to continue my postgraduate training. His influence turned out to be crucial and influenced the rest of my life. I will never forget him!

One of the most decent persons I have ever known, brimming with inner strength and integrity.

Michael Mayor was a first cousin of mine so I have memories of him of fun times even though he was several years younger. My condolences to the family. With love, Clare

What a great smile and lovely cousin! Great love to his family especially Lili

Sadness here in the Beatty household hard by gratitude to have met so remarkable a man as Dr. Mayor. A chat with him at a Two River's opening was by turns instructive--can there be any subject he could not opine on?- and delightful, his intellectual vivacity manifest in mischievous raised eyebrows. We will long remember Dr. Michael Mayor.

very sweet man
