Michael L. Mazzarese

I was in a Facebook cooking group with Mr. Mazzarese and marveled at his wit, humor, accomplishments and of course the wonderful culinary journeys he took us all on. I too did not have the pleasure of meeting him in person; but wished I had. I followed his journey and miss him and his inspiration, kindness, and grace. May we all meet one day at that big Italian table in Heaven and eat and drink together! R.I.H. Sir~ You are very loved and missed.

I worked with Mike and often commuted with him to Berkeley College. He was the most amazig and wonderful man. He gave me encouragement and support for the last 20 years. I will miss him tremendously.

Mr. Mazzarese’s French class at St. Peter’s Boys High School kindled my interest in foreign travel and experiencing other cultures which continues to this day. Condolences to his family.

Saddened to learn of Mike's passing - we shared a lot emails over the years. He was my French teacher at St. Peter's. Hi dinner photos on FB always made me hungry! Condolences to the entire family. A gracious man.

Mr. Mazz was a very spirited and memorable teacher. Because of him, I have added many things to my "ragbag of knowledge".

So sorry to hear that Mike has passed. A friend made thru FB and our mutual foodie groups, Mike was such an inspiration and positive force. Even thru his pain and treaments, he always found joy in the day. He always had a good word for others. What a remarkable and caring man.
The world has lost some humanity today, and heaven has gained a new angel.
