Michael Robert McAfee

Mike was THE teacher that made a difference to me. I was in his classes three years at Del Norte High School in the early 80s. He challenged me, encouraged me, and showed me ways to encourage others. Some of I learned I carried with me and shared with others. I tried the past few years to find him and tell him the impact he had on me and how much I respected and cared for him. He will always be with me. I believe God brought him into my life just when I needed it. Godspeed Mr. Mac!

Dear Sally, Coach Mac touched so many hearts. I know Jim was very fortunate to have him in his life. He provided many character building skills for my son. He was the closest thing that Jim had in his life as a father. He taught him how to believe in himself and others, how to accept the wins and the losses, kindness, love, acceptance, dedication and how to drive to accomplish your goals.
