I was one of the Peace Corps Volunteers stationed in Malawi in the early days. I had the distinct pleasure of working under the guidance of Mike McCone. We admired Mike, and were sad when he had to leave to serve in Malaysia. Several years ago, I organized the 50th reunion of our group's arrival in Malawi.
