Not sure what to say?

I am just seeing this now. I am very sorry to hear of Mike's passing! I am the nephew of Bob Teeney (deceased) from Surf City, NJ. I remember Mike and Elaine when I would visit my Uncle Bob / Aunt Terry in the summers at the NJ shore in the 1970s. Mike was a great lifeguard and a super guy. My aunt and uncle were very fond of Mike and Elaine. I have nothing but good memories of those times! My sincere condolences.

I want to express my condolences to the McCool family and everyone who knew him. To me, he was always "Mr. McCool," and he truly lived up to the name. When I was a seventh-grader at Demasi Middle School in 2011, he was my social studies teacher, and he made history feel alive and fun. He brought such energy and humor to the classroom that we often joked, "Mr. McCool really is cool!"

I still think about his lessons occasionally, and today, on a whim, I searched his name. I was...

So sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. He was a wonderful person and colleague. He was truly a gentle soul. May you Rest In Peace and enjoy a glorious Easter in the arms of the Lord.

May you rest in peace, Mike, knowing that you have nurtured several generations of our youth, molded impressionable young lives, and touched the lives of all who are fortunate to be making the journey called life with you! You are a “gentle giant!”

Mr. Mike McCool, what a cool name and a cool guy. Nidia and I were Mikes' very next door neighbors for over thirty three years ,so I'd like to think we were the closest of neighbors. Mike was a calm presence whenever we talked about things like life and the neighborhood in Mount Ephraim. Many of times we would ramble on not realizing the sun was going down, and our yard work wasn't done. I could not have asked for a better family to live next to. Missy babysat our kids, and Mike Jr. is a fine...

Mike was a great guy with whom I spent many days playing basketball with at the courts at Yorkship School, playing nickle- dime poker in the "back room" at Bill's in Fairview, and playing all the pin ball machines there too. Interesting that we never passed each other in Marlton where I've now lived for 30 years and where he taught for many of those years. He was a true gentleman! RIP Mike!
