Not sure what to say?

To the entire McCord family, I want to extend condolences on behalf of the Ullmann family. We all went to school together at St. Dom's and Shaker, and our families have certainly known each other for many, many years. We am so very sorry at the loss of your son, brother, husband, father and the wonderful man that Mike was. I am holding you in my prayers during this time of grief. I ask that the Holy Spirit encompass you in His wings and fill you with that peace that is beyond our...

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Mike at the Department of Labor when he was in Washington, DC. I was very sad to hear of his passing. He was a very nice man with a gentle soul.

I knew Mr. McCord from when I ran cross-country and track with his daughters. He was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about running and came to every meet to cheer us all on. I remember him from when I was in middle school all the way through my high school career. He remembered my times better than I did and always had a smile and kind words to encourage us when we didn't reach our goals or celebrate with us when we achieved our personal bests. I will always remember Mr. McCord's...

Mike and I grew up together at St. Dominic . He was a dear friend and a very loyal, kind and honest person. He was a super athlete and was a record holder for the 440 yd run. We would go on 20 mile training runs together and he would always be waiting for me at the finish because he was so fast. Throughout his scholastic journey he always focused on being a humanitarian and acting for the good and righteous . He had a great sense of humor and as quirky as I am he always laughed.

Mr. McCord was the only substitute people would rather have than their own teacher. He always brought energy to the class, with either his singing of Danny Boy or the showing off of his cool shoes. For most substitutes, respect was always an issue, but for Mr. McCord everyone naturally respected him as a kind and caring man. He was a friend of all the kids, and he will always be remembered as the singing sub.

Dear Claudia, Kelly, and Lindsay. We're all so saddened by the news of Mike's passing. Our fond memories of the many good times we shared with you and Mike will be with us always. We wish we could be there to comfort and support you. Will be in touch soon.
Warm regards,
Todd, Sheila, Bryce, and Seneca Gray

Dear McCord Family: So sorry to hear this sad news. While I lost contact with him since shortly after we graduated from high school, I have very fond memories my close friendship with Mike (and his siblings) while we attended Byron & Shaker.

As a member of the Saint Dominic Choirs under the direction of Cal Stepan I have fond memories of the McCord family.
Mike will be welcomed by so many from those
marvelous years.

I worked with Mike in the Cleveland Office. He was a nice guy who treated people well. Sorry for your loss.
