Not sure what to say?

Roommates with Mike at the 52nd st apt. Big, kind , sensitive soul. Deserving of all the love he received and the tears that we give.
I wish him eternal peace and contentment.

I had the pleasure of working with Michael with Edison Learning. We opened two schools in Illinois and Michael was instrumental in coming up with creative ideas to help us engage with families in the community. He was talented and a joy to be around. I only recently found out about his passing. My prayers are with his family.

I hadn't seen Michael in many years. I have only learned of this heartbreaking new today. He was just a joy to be around, his warmth, humor, talent was infectious...and it is unthinkable that such a bright light is gone so young. My heavy heart and prayers go out to all his family and friends. Shocking and heartbreaking news.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news, but I celebrate Michael's life and his accomplishments. He was always very kind and helpful to my staff and me in Atlanta. I rejoice in the knowledge that you and I will see him again one day with our Savior in Heaven. Tears and prayers for your family.

Thoughts and prayers to Aliya and family at this time..I am soo sorry for your loss.

My sympathy and condolences to the family for the passing of your loved one. Isaiah 33;24.

My love to Michael's devoted family and friends. What a gift he was to this world and will always be loved and admired by his personal gifts of love as well as his wonderful talent . I grieve for my granddaughter Aliya, Justin ,Ryan, and his devoted sister Lisa. God must have wanted him home ...we know he was young but heaven has gained an angel !

I have been at a loss all week thinking about this. Michael was a truly bright star, and his personality was inviting and infectious. We would all be better humans if we attempted to live and love with a fraction of the integrity and fervor that Michael had for life and people. "Rage, rage against the dying of the light."

Whenever I get frustrated, I just remember Michael saying "well ok, but how do we just make it work out right?" and we find a way. Now that blinding optimism can shine on the whole world at once.
