Read MoreWe were saddened to recently learn of Mike's passing. We were high school classmates at Saint Agnes and we both have many fond memories of Mike and our shared experiences from those years. We knew that Mike always had a desire to relocate to Hawaii and we are sure he found much happiness there. We will continue to think of him often and blessings to you all who remain.

I was playing softball at Kahala District Park in the early 1990´s and the opposing pitcher was wearing a Mets hat! As a lifelong Mets fan from New Jersey, I knew there were few if any other Met fans in Hawaii. After the game I talked to Mike about why he was wearing a Mets hat. After that we were lifelong friends. We had many lively discussions about our beloved Mets and also the politics of the day. I´ll miss those talks as I will miss my friend. RIP my friend.Dick Jones
