Michael and I became friends working together on projects in Denver. Besides socializing we'd talk about grandkids and other stories. I remember him telling a story of taking a grandson up gliding and flying over their home. I believe the mother was not as impressed as the grandson. We talked on the phone occasionally and at one point discussed meeting him at his ranch near San Diego and when he took his SUV trip across the USA we were going to link up when I went hunting, neither worked...
