Michael McGuire

I graduated from the Cincinnati Art Academy in 2000. Mike´s direction as an artist/instructor/friend is something I will never forget. Not only did he provide instruction to help a student but I was privileged to have him share his talent with by a painting he did for me to help with a project I was working on.

He was just the most amazing Art Teacher I ever had, in Cincinnati, Ohio. I loved his teaching style...I wish my daughter could have him for her College level Art Classes. Such a Huge Loss to the Arts and especially the family. My deepest Condolences to all of the Michael McGuire's family. I went to Central Academy as an older student. Mike was a great help to me, a true mentor. I credit him for much of my success.

Mike was a senior at St. Henry's when I was a freshman. He and my cousin and I had art pieces on display at the Taft Museum, and Mike drove us and one of the nuns to Cincinnati to see the exhibition. He took his mother's car because he was afraid to trust his old car. When we left the museum and went back to where we had left the car, it was gone!
