I graduated from the Cincinnati Art Academy in 2000. Mike´s direction as an artist/instructor/friend is something I will never forget. Not only did he provide instruction to help a student but I was privileged to have him share his talent with by a painting he did for me to help with a project I was working on.

He was just the most amazing Art Teacher I ever had, in Cincinnati, Ohio. I loved his teaching style...I wish my daughter could have him for her College level Art Classes. Such a Huge Loss to the Arts and especially the family. My deepest Condolences to all of the Michael McGuire's family. He even brought his family to my Hayride/Haystacks party I had in Ohio, The most amazing Art Professor. His Art is REAL. I wish I could have learned more from him way back when he was my Professor. May your hearts still be filled with wonderful memories of Mike. I was a student of his at Central Academy of Commercial Art in 1987. I still have my portfolio pieces!

Mike was a senior at St. Henry's when I was a freshman. He and my cousin and I had art pieces on display at the Taft Museum, and Mike drove us and one of the nuns to Cincinnati to see the exhibition. He took his mother's car because he was afraid to trust his old car. When we left the museum and went back to where we had left the car, it was gone! Mike was beside himself because it was his Mom's car. We talked to a policeman and learned that the car had been towed for parking in a no parking...

So sorry for your lose. The world has lost a very talented man.
