Michael McKinstry

I know how very proud Mike would be of his family and the lives they are leading. In my time as a college coach, he still remains one of my favorite parents I ever got to know. You are sorely missed, Mike, but never forgotten.

I apologize for these very late comments about Mike. I played Varsity basketball with Mike at West High for 2 years. He was not only a great teammate, but such an amazing person who truly cared about everyone. Just read his obituary has deeply saddened me because all of us lost someone special. My heart felt condolences to his family - may he eternally rest in peace.

I was a high school classmate of Mike's. He always had a smile on his face and though I did not know him well, I do remember that and he would always say "Hi!"

Mike McKinstry was a great human being and I was happy to know him and get to know his family through Megan. What a wonderful legacy he leaves through his children. He and Sandy are terrific parents that clearly set great examples for their kids. Gone WAY too soon, but never forgotten. Thanks for being you Mike.

I was a high school classmate of Mike's and I also live in Colorado. I send my deepest regards to his family.

Will miss his great smile, wonderful sense of humor, having lunch together, and playing golf. I know all of his wonderful attributes will be carried on with his wonderful children.
