Mike was one of the guys I really liked at work. He was a man's man. I know I always called him Mikey, but that was because he had a true sense of humor and when offered the chance he gave it right back to me. He was a man I truly respected. I ran into him and talked to him a few times after we retired, and I always went away feeling good. He had an upbeat personality that was contageous.
