Mike was always a gentleman. That will always be my memory of him. Folks speak proudly of "passion" for the program, but few including myself ever learned to display that passion with the calm grace that came so naturally to Mike. It was an honor to have known and worked with him.

Mike hired me and was my first supervisor at BAE Systems (Vitro). I often relied on his knowledge and experience. I owe my civilian career to Mike. His knowledge is missed, but his humanity cannot be replaced. I have and will miss him.
