Mr. McMurtrey was my instructor for band in Holt, and he was outstanding. I have great memories of him leading us. I am so sorry for your loss!

I just learned of this sudden tragedy and am so sorry for you his family and for our community. He was such a pleasant and willing worker for many causes. I'm sure he will be long remembered for his exemplary life and his great contributions to both his family and to our community. We will certainly miss him in many ways.

We were so sorry read of Mike's passing and just wanted you to know we are thinking you and your family. Our Teresa had Mike as a band teacher in Holt before their was even "Mike and Holly". Yours was a perfect union. Our deepest sympathy.
