Michael was born on June 16, 1947 and passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017. Michael was a resident of Saint Clair, Michigan at the time of his passing. Michael graduated from De La Salle High School the University of Detroit and following in the footsteps of his father Stephen graduated from the University of Detroit Law School in 1973. He was married to Denny. A funeral mass celebrating Michaelsâ life will be held on January 28 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Gesu Parish 7180 Oak Drive Detroit Michigan 48221 across from the entrance of the University of Detroit Campus Livernois entrance with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Mike was a part of my family growing up. He was my brother, Cleve Thurber's, best friend all through high school and college and they remained in close contact all of Mike's life.
