Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathies go out to Mikes beloved family, Peg, Amber and Christine. I am shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. Mike and I became work buddies first at Nortel and this naturally blossomed into a personal friendship. I had the privellege of seeing him at his beloved cottage on Norway Lake and I fondly remeber Mikes stories of Scotland, the Scotch club and his time in the Far East. Mike was a lovely person who I shall miss. I cherish the times we spent together at work and...

We are very sorry to hear about Michael's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls.

I read an article yesterday after the service on what possible regrets or things that could change in ones life prior to their demise. The number one answer was"To be true to oneself and have no regrets for being so". I believe Mike was true to himself, his family, friends and others. I will truly miss him and offer my condolences to my sister Peggy, my nieces Amber and Christine. Micheal will live on in our memories forever.

My deepest sympathies to the McPhail family. I worked with Mike back at Trillium . Mike was such an honor to work with. He was a gentle giant of a personality and never had a cloudy day at work. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing .

My heart goes out to you during this sad time.
Mike had a wonderful soul. His passing is a great loss to the many lives he touched.

Peggy, Amber and Christine: Mike was such an enthusiastic field naturalist that whatever he was involved in, you wanted to be part of it too. We've lost a great naturalist.

Peggy, Christine and Amber
Our deepest condolences for your loss of the most wonderful father and husband. Uncle Mike will be deeply missed by all of us, especially his stories of nature, his love for music, and his love for his family. Please know that you are surrounded by a family that deeply loves all you.
With love and prayers,

Margaret: I am truly sorry for your loss. Mike was always such a nice guy. I knew Mike way back when he and his family used to camp at our campground in CarletonPlace (Mississippi Lake Camping) way back in the 70's. I met him again a few years ago as we both worked at Algonquin College.

Dear Peggy, Susan and family,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time.
May you keep your memories close to heart and softly smile when you remember those cherished moments.
I know my daughter Taryn has very fond memories of summer days at your cottage, Peggy.
Hugs to all.
