Dearest Doug and Family,

I just heard about Michael's eternal rest and am so saddened. What a unique and wonderful young man. Our mutual baseball memories and more will be cherished forever. His beautiful red hair Literally brightened others lives, just like his Dad. It's a shame that we do not communicate with those we hold dear until something sorrowful occurs. Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers. I miss you.
