Hello Michael my friend, I don't think anyone can really understand the brotherly bond we developed in college. Even though we did not see each other much after college, the bond in my heart has lasted even to this day 45+ years later. You taught me the meaning of true friendship without judgement. My respect and love for you will always be here and I hope you can feel it from where you are.

Still remember you like it was yesterday. The time we spent together at John Wesley was some of my most cherished memories. I remember from school, one of Michael's favorite things was to sleep in the winter with the heat on high and the window open. Miss you my friend.

Once again my thoughts are of my friend Michael and all the great times we had at John Wesley College and traveling together. Michael's heart was like an open door and once you got in the door you were always welcomed and loved. I miss you all the time my friend, you are always in my heart and mind.

Just learned of Michael's passing. I was at John Wesley College at the same time he was and am saddened to hear of this loss. Rest peacefully in God's loving arms Michael.

We are thinking of you today Michael. I hope you have found happiness and your days are peaceful.

Michael Melchi was my college roommate at John Wesley College in Owosso, Michigan. Mike was such a wonderful person and a fantastic friend, I had my first alcoholic beverage with Mike at 18. We had many adventures together that bonded me to Michael for the rest of my life. I will never forget those times, especially traveling the Grand Canyon together.
