Michael Reed Mercy M.D.

From a close friend in med school: Mike will long be remembered for his quick intellect, wide range of talents (what a dancer!), enormous smile, and limitless generosity.

One of the most memorable things about Mike was how kind he was. I never once remember him saying a mean thing about anyone,or raising his voice in anger. He always had a smile, and a funny thing to say to me and others. Eventhough I've not been in touch with him since Med School, when I saw this news, those memories immediately came back. I hope his wife and children always remember that about him and how others were affected by that and talk about that quality.

So sorry to hear this news. Mike and I were roommates after medical school and although we didn't keep in touch as much as I would have wished I always thought I would be seeing him whenever either of us were in each other's neighborhood. My deep condolences to his family, I will miss Mike mightily.

My condolences to Mike's family, he will be dearly missed. I had the pleasure of working with Mike as one of the ED nurses. He will be remembered as a caring and loving man, not only to his family but to the people he worked with and cared for. I will truly miss him... RIP Mike...
