MESHRAKY, Michael S.- Of Burton, age 18, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at Owosso Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be held 2PM Saturday, May 24, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Brian Robinson officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Good Heritage Academy for a scholarship fund. Visitation 6-9PM Thursday, 2-4 and 6-9PM Friday at the funeral home. Michael was born in Flint, Michigan on May 6, 1985. He graduated from Good Heritage Academy in 2001 and was valedictorian at the age of 16. He attended Cornerstone Christian Center. He received a black belt in Martial Arts. Michael was working towards his Builder's license and Real Estate license and currently had a patent for a CD ROM videogame emulation system. He was owner and operator of a vending machine company called Vend 4 You and was co-owner of Mid-Michigan Solid Surfaces. Surviving are parents, Samy and Jenice of Burton; fiancee' Heather Tremblay of Montrose; 2 sisters, Christina and husband Jason Sprague of Fairbanks, Alaska and Angela Goodwin of Fort Myers, Florida; 2 nieces, Samantha and Kayla; nephew, Chase; 2 grandmothers, Evon Mekar of Burton, Ethel and husband Andy Anderson of Flint; 2 aunts, Linda Tompkins of Burton, Donna and husband William Yax of Flint; uncle, Samir and wife Nashwa Meshraky of Flint; special cousins, Jessica, Mary and Jeremy; several others cousins and many, many close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Soudy Meshraky and Denver Tompkins.

Dear Sammy And Jenice, please accept our deepest condolences on Michaels passing. He was one of the very finest young men we have ever had the privilege to meet.We have alot of wonderful memories of Michael on video with our kids during the early martial arts days.He will be deeply missed here but we know we will reunite with him in heaven for his faith, his belief, and his salvation was in Christ alone.
