Michael S. Miller

Michael S. Miller, 63, formerly of Exeter Township, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023 in his Lancaster, PA residence. Born in Reading, he was the son of Anne V. (Guglielmo) Miller and the late Leonard Miller. He was a graduate of Reading Area Community College, Kutztown University and then received his Master Degree in education from Penn State University. He was beloved by his 1st and 2nd grade students at Stony Brook Elementary School in York, where he taught for 20 years, retiring in 2021. He was an avid Phillies, Eagles and most recently, 76ers fan. He loved music and playing guitar and writing songs based on his own personal experiences. He was a kind and compassionate person with a great sense of humor. Family and friends meant the most to him and to them he will be sorely missed. In addition to his mother, he is survived by brother, David Miller of Exeter Township and sister, Diane Paul of Muhlenberg Township. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Sharon Ann Huyett. Services will be private at the family's convenience.
