Dr. Michael A. Monaco

Dr. Monaco was one of the three Drs. That took care of me during my three pregnancies from 1976 thru 1985. He was a kind and compassionate Dr. Rest in peace.

Dr. Monaco was a knowledgeable and kind physician who cared for me throughout my pregnancy, an uneventful one until the very end, when my baby was presenting backside first. He stayed all night with me in the hospital, in between delivering several other babies that night, and finally went home, exhausted, in the morning. Dr. D´Agostino took over, then, and he performed a C-section on me, delivering my healthy baby boy. I felt very fortunate to have been under their care. Both physicians...

I had natural child birth. Dr. Monaco stayed with me till I went into labor. He was wonderful. We were in the new Staten Island Hospital, and no one really knew how to use the new delivery table. Finally things started to work and Dr Monaco helped me deliver my beautiful baby girl! Thank you so much Dr Monaco, I´ll never forget you. May you Rest In Peace

Dr. Monaco was a gentle kind man and an excellent doctor. He delivered my second son in 1974 (natural child birth) he stayed at the hospital until I went into labor at which time they woke him from a nap. I was able to pay my respects to him when he lost his beloved son. Afterwards at an office visit I admired the watch he was wearing on his wrist, he said, it was my son´s. Sr Monaco delivered my son Anthony 59 years ago at SI Hospital. He was only 35 years old. Dr Dangerfield my OBGYN was on vacation. He was very caring and calm. RIP

My sincere sympathy to his family. Dr.Monaco ,was such a wonderful person he delivered my daughter ,I can remember that moment like it was yesterday. He was soft spoken and very kind. May he now RIP.
