Michael Monica

My oldest friend. I will miss him dearly.

We live in Florida and we're not able to go to the memorial, so we had our own here in fort Lauderdale. It was attended by the people closest to him is his life. This is the Eulogy we read , we then released balloons with all different pics of Mike with his friends.

One of the first persons that I met in Syracuse in 87. Michael had his fun and bit crazy times. I remember introducing him to Kevin and their connection. They had a fun crarring life together. You were not happy after his death. You said you wouldn't return to Syracuse alive. You did it your way. Now you are at peace crom pain and unhappiness. You are reunited with Kevin Peace be with you.

I worked with Michael in the late 70's at Syracuse Developmental Center. He was a flamboyant hoot, and he used to put all of us that worked on the unit with him in stiches as he'd get us laughing from his antics. I've thought of him over the years and have wondered what became of him and the others I worked with back then. Thanks for all of the many laughs you gave us Michael.
