Not sure what to say?

To the many nice things posted here, I would add that my favorite thing about Mike was his sense of fun. When I worked with him, no matter how serious the situation, there always was a smile waiting to break out, maybe a quick joke and that great laugh to make everyone keep things in perspective. You always came away from meeting with him feeling a bit better.

Dear Jean,
Mike touched so many people and I feel lucky to be one. I especially remember his thoughtfulness and generosity of spirit. I will always be grateful for the kindness and support I received from you both during my Kodak years.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Cynthia ('Cindy')

Jean, I was so sorry to receive the news about Mike through the Kodak retiree grapevine. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jean,

Please accept our deepest condolences.

Mike was the class of our MIT class and those of us who had the privilege of being classmates and witnessed his talents knew that his professional success was inevitable. We also knew what a quality individual he was.

Our thoughts are with you and your family. Naples is only a short drive so please let us know if we may ever be of assistance.

With deepest sympathy,
Jack and Arline Stumpff

Jean:

We were saddened to receive a call from Mark Matthews today regarding Mike. It is hard to believe Mike is no longer with us, but it is a blessing he is no longer in such pain. For three years he fought the battle and he fought for you and your children.

When I met Mike 23 years ago at MIT, I was impressed and that never changed. Mike was and is "top notch" when it comes to the individuals I have known over the years. So much more to say.

God bless...

Dear Jean,

I'm still getting over the response to my email. While the MIT days do not seem like over 20 years ago, the memory of our time together is like yesterday. We had a good time in Barbados and more recently I will always treasure our boat ride in Naples. Your friends from my unofficial car pool always remain to assist you and the Morley Family in any way we can.

With true respect,

Mark Matthews and Family

Dear Jean

Chuck and I will never forget the kindness and generosity shown to us by you and Mike. It was always a pleasure when we got together for dinner. Mike holds the position of the absolute very best boss I have ever had in my career. Chuck always said that Mike missed his real calling as a Priest. But the right woman came along and changed his life and her name is Jean. Thank you Jean for sharing Mike with us and so many more people.

With Sincere Respect,

Jean, Michele, Kathryn and John, I am so so sorry to hear about your dad. He was such a wonderful person. All of you will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Deborah Paterson Saball.
