Not sure what to say?

Mike was a terrific friend and mentor. Those of us in the Aviation units were in agreement that he was one of the good guys. I had some of my best times working, flying traveling and drinking with a man I truly respected and liked. Mary Ellen, Mary Kate, Tim and Pat, I am deeply sorry for such a great loss.

I only met Michael a couple of times, however he impressed me as a very accomplished person who was very skilled in interpersonal relationships. He was very kind. His death saddened me however I believe in an afterlife with Jesus and the holy Trinity, and Blessed Mother Mary, which is where I will see him again. I offer my sincere condolences to Mary Ellen and the entire Morrison family. My prayers continue for you all in this time of your loss of your husband, father, grandfather, and...

Mary Ellen , so sad to hear of your loss. Mike was a good man, neighbor, and friend. I´m sorry I didn´t get up to see him but didn´t know he was sick. If there is anything we can do to help out please let us know. We are leaving for Arizona on the 28th and am sorry we won´t be here for the funeral . Our thoughts and prayers are with you.Bill and Julie.

COL Mike was a great military officer, admired and highly respected by all as a caring, witty, very intelligent leader who was also a friend to all he met. His expertise and outstanding aviation career added so much to Montana civil and Montana Army Guard aviation. Mike (Hawg) Morrison will never be absent from hearts and minds of so many privileged to have called him a friend. May the many fond memories comfort MaryEllen and family.
