Uncle Mike,

I had this sudden urge to call you about some art related matters. I thought you would be excited to know that I had delved into the art of film making... well, cartoon making actually. I never made that phone call, so I missed the chance to share my new work with you and will probably regret it for a long time.

You were always very supportive of Holli and I, and you urged us to do great and creative things with our lives. I wanted you to know that your...

One year without Michael is one zillion too many. I love and miss you, Michael!!! Your friend forever, adora

When we were young, Mike was our leader and teacher. As the oldest of six children our big brother showed us how special we were to be family. I will miss our conversations the most. Watching his face as he talked about his newest project.I don't think that he knew how many lives he touched and influenced. He was a naturally gifted and talented man.

It was never a dull moment with Mike. When we were kids he always picked me on his football side, mainly because I thought my brother did and could do anything and I followed his lead always. He was the fun one in our family and brought laughter and dreams into everything. He was poetic, Ill never forget the poem he made up about pretty boy floyd. He and I recently laughed that I remembered it still with vivid recall. How could you not. Like most families we all fuss about small matters....

I knew Mike from when he'd come in to the Flint Public Library. We always discussed movies and paintings. Mike was a wonderful man, and he will be missed. May it comfort you to know that his memory will be for a blessing.

Michael was my best friend and he never ceased to amaze me. Through his immense talent and knowledge, his devotion and his sensitivity. Michael - you play the sky now and I'll play the ground so we will always meet. You were and still are loved.
