Michael Mosher

"Mosher" and I completed our last year of medical radiography training in Kamloops together (with Courtney D). We kept eachother standing. Mosher was a good man, and a dedicated friend. I will always cherish the good times spent with Mosher...we'll miss you buddy!

I remember Michael very well from my time running the Heart Transplant program at VGH. He was a very fine young man--we all learned from him. My condolences to family.

Michael was an inspiration to us with his determination, focus and optimism. He just left too soon.

Mike and I shared a tortuous but ultimately life-giving experience for 5 months in U 0f A Hospital in Edmonton, waiting for, and eventually receiving new hearts within 24 hours of each other. I got to know Mike's courage and strong will to live in spite of almost insurmountable hurdles he faced. His mother's emotional appeals through the media resulted in 5 of us receiving new hearts within 17 days - we owe her our lives.
