My dear Vicki, I just caught up with time and am so saddened to learn of Mike's passing. Oh what a wonderful man he was! Some of my fondest memories are spending time with you and Mike. I knew Mike (& Vicki) through their very talented artist son, Alex. In primary school, I spent hours at their house drawing (or just being in awe of Alex drawing). Mike and Vicki were always warm, welcoming and ready with a hug. He will be very missed. Many thoughts, prayers and tons of love to Vicki, Alex and the family.

Mike's death is a great loss to me, and it's taken me a while to process it. Mike and I met in the Attorney General's Office in the 1990s. Our friendship was built going to lunch each day at various downtown restaurants and the Capitol. During those lunches we would discuss world and local events, sports, family activities, and just about anything else under the sun.
