Mother Awaits Son's Call
Football, wrestling, snowboarding, baseball. There is not a sport that Michael Mullin, 27, would not eagerly throw himself into. The same goes for spectator sports, and Mr. Mullin was thrilled to have finally secured season tickets to the Giants after years of trying. "My boy just loves sports," said his mother, Lynn. "He loves to have fun, and he loves to make everyone laugh."

A trader with Cantor Fitzgerald, Mr. Mullin worked on the 104th floor of Tower 1 and lived in Hoboken, N.J., with one of his brothers. There were five children in the Mullin family, and all of Mr. Mullin's siblings have been spending recent days in Manhattan; father and son volunteering to remove rubble, the other three children canvassing the city for information about their brother. Mrs. Mullin has been staying home in Holbrook, N.Y., awaiting what she believes will be a call from her son. "He used to call me every day just to check in," she said through tears. "I'm just waiting for the phone to ring, to hear his voice."

Michael.
Always my hero, and forever my big brother.
I know when the time comes for us to meet again, it will all seem like a blink of an eye. You'll say "Freeeeddy", and we'll likely just nod our heads like brothers do.

You'd be wildy proud of your niece and troop of nephews. They all know of their Uncle Michael, and in each one of them I can't help but see all of the pieces that made up the charismatically just and proud person that you were.
They would make...

Michael, you were the first baby i ever held and I loved you like a little brother. I will cherish the times when we would set up a village with all of our Smurfs and you, I and Freddie would try to keep them from Gargamel...:) They made a Smurf movie this year and I of course had to see it. I brought my son Devin to see it. He would have loved you Michael with your beautiful smile and big blue eyes!! You made everyone happy even if they started off sad..

The last time I saw you...
