A true Individualist! Celebrate Mike's passion!

Michele and Suzanne - As you prepare to honor Mike and say your goodbyes, know that we are with you in our hearts and prayers. Glad that we have been with you to share some BIG moments in your family's life. Mike was certainly a presence, wherever he was and because of that his absence will be felt by many. Sending much, much love

Michelle and family, our deepest sympathies. Mike's spirit and humor are wonderful memories I will hold. He was always quick to wit and ready to laugh, even when he was irritated by some bureaucratic obstruction to his ever evolving plans. His vision and enthusiasm were contagious, and I will deeply miss that energy and excitement he had of all the possibilities of things to come when creative minds get to work. Cheers to Mike, and our prayers.

One day as I was leaving the Citizen office, Barry Goldwater opened the door for me as he was coming in. Another day a reporter was on the phone with the wife in Phoenix of a man who was just arrested in Tucson for bank robbery. She told the...
