Not sure what to say?

OMG! My name is Lisa Kelly and I am saddend and shocked by the death of Dr. Musicant. He was a good man. I had suffered 4 yrs. with gallbladder probls. and was at my wits in and in an emrgency state I contacted him, he told me to get to the er and he took care of the problem and performed a comfortable surgery. He was marvelous before during and after. I am more saddened because my dad passed away unexpectedly with the same diagnosis, lung cancer as well. He went above and beyond the call...

This was a special man who went beyond what other doctors would do in order to help the patient. He was a caring doctor. I was very sad to hear of his passing. He opened me up in 1988 and again in 2004. He found what was wrong when others dismissed my suffering. You are missed. Thank you for helping me once again.

While reading the newspaper today, I learned of Dr. Musicant's death. I am deeply saddened.
Years ago my husband David needed his gallbladder removed. He learned that Dr. Musicant had only preformed Laparoscopic surgery on pigs, he would be the first human. David being somewhat of a prankster talked to his nurses and was wheeled into surgery with a PIG NOSE ON!
Years later I needed gallbladder surgery. During my appointment with Dr. Musicant I introduced myself as mrs Pig Nose....

I just found out about Dr. Musicant's passing. It's no wonder that he passed on February 14th since he was so full of love! I was diagnosed at 37 yrs. with Breast Cancer and Dr. Musicant performed my mastectomy. Since I had two small daughters ages 3 and 5 at the time, I was concerned about them being scared when they saw my scar, so I asked Dr. Musicant to make my scar in the shape of a smile! He loved the idea and told me that he had never had that request before, but he would be happy...

Dr. Musicant was referred to me by my primary doctor for surgery...and I had the great pleasure of meeting him. He was very caring and compassionate. I am deeply sorry for you loss. Denise Dempsey (Lakeside, CA.)

I consider myself privileged to have known Mike for many years. He was a conscientious physician and true gentleman. My sympathy goes out to Myla and Mike's family. I was partculary impressed by Mike's last article in the Grossmont Physician. It nearly brought me to tears, but made me smile at the same time. I am HAPPY to have known Mike Musicant.

Respectfully, R. "Al" Heising, MD

To Dr. Musicant's family: We first met Dr. Musicant in 1985. Our 10 yr. old son had just been diagnosed with a brain tumor, & was in SICU after having the necessary neurosurgery. However, one of the complications he developed following the neurosurgery was G.I. bleeding - and that's when another angel entered our lives - Dr. Musicant - with not only his invaluable expertise, but his kind & caring manner - something parents in such situations desperately need.
Following our son's...
