Not sure what to say?

I am a fellow PCOM graduate 1981. I met Mike in 1982 in Johnstown, Pa. when I was an ERb Physician and he was finishing his surgical residency. He wanted to be a plastic surgeon like me but said it was had to get into for a D.O. and said he was going to do a trauma surgical fellowship. I see he did become a plastic surgeon. I never saw Mike again and just learned of his passing from the PCOM Digest. He was truely a great surgeon and compassionate human being which is sadly lacking in many...

As a Trinity roommate and fellow football player, I knew Mike as a great friend and a fierce competitor on the athletic field. His goal through college was always to become a Dr and we are all so proud of him when he achieved his dream. His service to his country came as no surprise as he was always a patriot first. We lost a good one in Mike

Mick was a dear friend of mine from the 3rd grade on. I remember countless goodtimes with him. Shooting hoops with him in the drive way....playing football in the backyard....playing little league baseball (even though we were not on the same team). He will always be in my heart as one of the best friends a person could ask for.....RIP my dear friend

Michael and I were librarians together at clearview school 1959-60. He was the sweetest 10 year old! Rip Michael! You did a great job! You are sooo loved!

Dr. Najarian and I crossed paths in July of 1997 as I was a first year surgical resident at what was then PolyClinic soon to be Pinnacle PolyClinic and now UPMC in Harrisburg. Dr. Najaria was always available as a teacher and mentor. I look back now on my career and wonder what I would have been like if I stayed in General Surgery and followed in is footsteps into Trauma. Critical Care pateints are always a challenge in many ways and to see each recover from their illness is a blessing to...

I am more than certain I am one in the myriad of people who had the pleasure of knowing such a humble and dedicated to his fellow human as Dr. Michael Najarian. My name is Marlene Fuhrman and I am an employee of the Country Club of Harrisburg. It's been four years I have had the pleasure of serving both he and dearest Betsy. The last I had seen them both I asked Doctor to jokingly take my pulse and to no one's surprise he immediately obliged. Betsy laughed and replied "I'm sure it's faster...

Betsy, I am so sorry for your loss!

I had the privilege to work with Dr. Najarian. He was a great surgeon, teacher and an all around wonderful man with a wicked sense of humor. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences, and may you find comfort in the treasured memories and legacy he has left behind. J Paul Manzella
