Michael, Michael,

I know you're up there smiling and dancing your little heart out.

I remember when we first met in '78 in a Tap Troupe. Practiced, practiced and practiced under the strict rule of Bess Bair, stage name (Rosie Radiator and the Push Rods).

I remember the days in the empty school yard behind your apartment working on our super shuffle routine. And the retreat weekends a.k.a., boot camp at Cazadero getting ready for our debut at Davies Hall. The...

My fondest memory of Michael was paging through his Tap Troupe scrapbook while working as his colleague at Chiron Corporation. We also started a Lesbian/Gay lunch group there...it was a lot of fun. Michael, I will miss you and am glad to have these memories.

Michael was a good man, a beloved friend and respected colleague. There is a huge whole in my heart and I know I am not alone. I love you Michael. Rest in peace.

We have lost a truly bright and shining spirit with Michael's passing. It has been many years since we worked together, but we kept in touch sharing laughter and stories and quips. He was ever the optimist and gentleman. I will miss him. My sincere condolences to his family and all others who loved him.

Michael Natzke was full of life! I remember him from the old times in the late 70's and 80's when we walked all over San Fran at all hours, laughing and laughing. My favorite memory of him was canoeing on the Russian River in Guerneville singing at the top of our lungs "When The Moon Hits Your Eye...That's Amore." He could sing every song from "Chorus Line" and dance beyond everyone's limit. He loved to laugh, drink good wine, and talk. He listened, really listened. He was a terrific...
