Michael B. Nixon Jr. entered into rest on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his parents, Michael (Valarie) Nixon Sr.; sisters, Ashley (Randy) Nixon, LaQuisha Johnson and Dedra Nixon-Smith; brothers, Kevin and Trevin Nixon; nephews, Michael "King" Tyshawn Lewis Jr. and Rych Alexander Calvin; uncles, Kelvin (Marcie) Williams, David Nixon, Sr., Tyron (Beatrice) Williams, Sr; aunts, Deborah Burns, Vanessa (Alvin) Rouse and Tonya Jackson; two great-uncles, Levi (Marlene) Turner and Freddie Turner; two beloved godmothers Sherill Dunn and Anne Woods; beloved friend, Yvette Lawson; and a host of cousins and friends. There will be a viewing on Friday from 1-5 p.m.

You will be missed by Bravo 4 Spartans. You were one of the top Cadets in the Platoon I had the honor to have you as a Cadet before COVID and after. So much discipline and respect . From you showing the Platoon you beating the drums on YouTube to me showing the classes after you a video of you making your bunk the correct way.
