I think of Mike daily....I have a picture of him on my desk from when he was home at the beginning of 2018. The one lesson that Mike taught me about life is that "the truth is always somewhere in the middle". I use that quote regularly and am so grateful he was in my life for so many years. Robo

To Mikes Family, I share my condolences. I found out about Mike passing away from my Mom, Genie Jensen, who still lives in Grand Forks. Mike and I attended Kelly Elementary, Schroeder Junior High, and Red River High School. We where in the Sunflake Skiing Club together. I had not seen him since UND. I regret I didn't know Mike lived in Portland, OR as I and my family have been traveling there frequently the past 35 years to visit my two best friends, Peter Schnabel who was also from...

Mike was a very special friend. He always made me laugh with his wonderful sense of humor. I will miss his hugs, laughter and kid-like enthusiasm. I told him to find my mom, then head to the nearest casino up in heaven. I am sure they are still there today! Missing you daily. Robo

Mike hired me at Shearson Lehman in 1992. We had many laughs with him trying to fit in my car and holding a portable radio. That vision will always bring a smile and a chuckle to me. He was loved by many and will be missed so much.
