Not sure what to say?

I remember what good friends Michael Paul Novak and Keith Denniston were. It was always a treat to hear them read on the same program. I'll always treasure my memories of both men and their contributions to Kansas poetry.

Michael was such a good poet, so funny, and so very, sharply intelligent.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences on passing away of Mr.Novak.
We'll treasure the beautiful memory of our three years we spent in Saint Mary College 1993 - 96 with Mr. Novak who were open-minded and always listened closely to us. We bless his momory.
With deepest sympathy,

Mike was my friend. We had great times together before and after his retirement. He may have been a trivia whiz but was not trivial in the least. He was to be admired for his intellect and compassion. I feel lucky to have known him especially as a friend and also as a professor. I learned much from him about a great many things and I will carry that knowledge with me always. You will be missed.
