Sergeant (later Chief) Mike Nowacki was a man us Lincoln Park kids really looked up to. He was a great "Cop" . He could be very tough or very reasonable, even kind. It was always the teenagers choice to make. If the kid was smart, and didn't run his mouth, things would go ok. If you were disrespectful to a cop, then you deserved what happened next. A GOOD man.
