Not sure what to say?

I could not believe it...I was reading the FUMA Call to Quarters today and saw the sad news in TAPS. I considered Mike as my best friend at FUMA. Although we have not seen each other in quite a long time I still think about him whenever I think of FUMA, which is often. We had spoken in June/July and were planning to get together. This must be a very difficult time for his family and I know that words cannot help. He was a fantastic friend and a great guy and I will miss him tremendously. If I...

I love you uncle Mike and im writing to you because our family is doing ok for now, but now and then they start to cry and it hurts to see them cry because your not here. My mom is doing well but wants you back even though we know you cant come back. You have no idea how many times my mom picks up the phone to call you and tell you that she doesnt have work today or always wanting you to call her and just letting her know that you are alright. it is hard to be strong for the family and alway...

Dear Andrea, I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Michael's passing. Even though I only met with you and Mike twice I was impressed with his kindness and with talking with him on the phone knew how thrilled he was about becoming a new father. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To all of the Nygren (Tasillo) family:

I went to grade school with Michael. He was such a great kid. I remember hanging out with him and John Joseph - one of his neighbors at the time. My heart goes out to all of you. I too lost my brother, Scott Taylor, 41 years, of age the day after Christmas this year. I believe Mike's sister Terry was in Scott's class. Sometimes life doesn't seem fair. There are no words that can ease your pain and sorrow right now.

As people...

To the Nygren Family

Mike was a collegue of mine at Gen Re. We met on several occasions in New York and Hartford. I will remember him as an outstanding human being, kind, smart and funny. Talking to him, you knew that he had the right priorities and values.

We are so sad for your incredible loss. Mike was our friend and will be fondly remembered. We regret that you, Andi must endure such a tragedy at a time in your life that should be joyous. And that Joseph will not enjoy his father's great sense of humor and sweet heart. May you find the companionship of Joseph's presence in your life to be of comfort and embrace the miracle of his new life.

Sincerely, Tim and Lisa Williams

The world was a better place with Mike in it. Any room lit up in his presence. His gift was to make others happy and always see the good in any situation. Please take some solace in the fact that he impacted so many peoples' lives in a very positive way. He was tremendously happy to get married, often remarking at his luck in love, and over the moon to become a dad.

It was such a priviledge to work with Mike the last 7 or 8 years. He touched all of us in a special way, and we...

Dear Andrea
Please accept my deepest sympathy to you and all your family. I know you will miss Mike very deeply. My prayers are with you. I worked with him at Gen Re and always thought what a wonderful and cheerful attitude he possessed. We will all miss him.

Words cannot express the deep sadness of the passing of Mike(although we used to call him 'Nygs' or 'Nogs'). His love of family, his zest for life and strong sense of commitment and compassion are what we will miss the most.

Mike never met a stranger and always had time for a friend. Lisa and I were both blessed and privliged to have known Nygs and to have called him our friend. We will miss him greatly.

There are few opportunities in this life to meet such a...
