I bought this beautiful huge oil painting several years ago and think of Michael every day. This piece is the focal point of my living room and one I cherish. He was so talented, what a gift.

When I was in the Air Force as a fight surgeon at Mountain home, Air Force Base, in Idaho I met Michael and bought this painting from him. I remember he was so pleased to tell me that he had mixed sage brush with the paint for the sage brush in the painting. It´s a painting that I have always loved and it has been hanging in My Home for the last 40 years.

How very odd. He was a neighbor of mine apparently. As my family owned the large property on Lightning Creek Road where the river curves. And yet, I never met him. I did know his brother Kendall who was in my class of 1977 at Boise High School. I really liked Ken a lot. He was always fun and kind. I heard he passed a few years back and quite shocked as his life seemed so vibrant.
