I was a classmate of Mike´s at MC. He was one of those rare individuals who always had a smile on his face and a friend to all. God bless him.

Epitome of an Irishman, through and through, and never knew a stranger. Was glad to share a little time hiking in Ireland this past July and seeing Mike enjoy meeting all the locals, and of course a rendition of Alouette! So many laughs...RIP Mike.

Where I was born and raised in East Los Angeles, there were categories of young men; Indians, Warriors and Chiefs. Mike O´B would be ranked as a great "Chief". Those of us that had the good fortune of having O´B as a roommate, teammate and classmate experienced a friendship most difficult to express in words. Because our friendships truly came from our hearts. God bless you Mike O´B.

O´B fought to the end, as was expected. As a former housemate, traveling companion, and friend, Mike made sure there was never a dull moment when he was involved. Thanks for the many laughs and memories, O´B, and we look forward to another "final final" when we meet again...
