Michael Middleton O'Brien

So sorry to learn of Mike´s passing. He was a great high school friend...and fellow Powder Puff Cheerleader! In 1978, I was driving back to Durango after a summer in CA and recognized Mike, somewhere in AZ, hitchhiking back to Durango. We made sure he got home! Miss you brother! Scott Kelly

The family lived down the street and Mike was a firecracker of a kid. I remember the controversy of spats and thought then he had courage for standing up for his beliefs. I´m so sorry for your loss. Your family will be in my prayers.

We sit next to Mike and Sally at the Broncos games. He will be missed and remembered at every game (especially Raider games) Rest in Peace my friend. Our deepest sympathies go out to Sally and her family. Sending Prayers and Love.

Dear O´Brien Family, I was saddened to learn of Mike´s passing. I remember his calm presence as we all jumped into the freezing LaPlata county pool to practice as the Durango Sailfish swim team. He had a picture perfect stroke and a determined spirit . I remember our Durango summer days with fondness and will remember Mike as kind and thoughtful person with a fun sense of humor. Please know you are all in my thoughts now and in the days to come.

We only met Mike a couple of times over the years; usually at events like weddings and birthdays. He was a great guy. Kelly is a close friend of ours and we offer our sincere condolences to her and all family members. Mary and Kerry O'Brien
