It does not seem real that Mike has passed away 18 months ago. I miss our telephone conversations and the sharing of family news. Our lives ran parallel for so many years. We were born in the same year, separated by three months, attended Our Lady of Hope, Cathedral High School, and St. Anselm College. Mike was one year ahead of me all this time. We both grew up, matured on Hungry Hill, enjoying the extended Irish family on Wilber Street under the careful eyes of the three Begley sisters-...

Mary and Family, I am having trouble putting my feelings into words. Mike´s family was his pride and joy. He beamed every time he spoke of you. I was his assistant for five years at MassMutual but remained close with him after he retired. For the past 25 years I have always looked forward to our lunches around Christmas then we switched to spring/summer lunches and our chats throughout the years. We lost a great one. Mary & family so very sad for you. Mike was a treasure at St A's that is where we met . He was a guide/mentor to the ways of St A's when I and 16 others from CHS 1960 arrived as freshmen, and we will always be grateful for his guidance and friendship which extended to the present. Saw him very recently at the Deputy Sheriff's breakfast, and he was still a treasure. Deepest sympathy to all of you.
