Not sure what to say?

Heaven received a great American Hero, a good and gentle man. Mike was "old school" - faith, family, Country. I met him when he worked with my Dad at Firestone and I was in school with his kids. With Veronica he raised his family the Catholic, American way. His legacy lives on. I was blessed to know him and we will all miss him.

May you find peace and comfort in your precious memories

Mike, Veronica & Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time of grief. Thinking of all the wonderful memories you shared may bring some comfort.

It is times like these that make the miles between us seem even greater. Grandpa O was one of the most enjoyable individuals I have ever had the pleasure to be around, and he will truly be missed.

Mike and Veronica, I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Oravec's passing. I will keep you and the rest of his family in my prayers.

Dear Oravec Family,

We are so sorry for your loss. As you know, you have so much to be proud of in Grandpa O. He led an exemplary life. My first memory of him was from at least 30 some years ago. He and Grandma O would take me to their neighbor's backyard to see the horses, which I always loved to do. He had an amazing WWII story and I also loved that he gave up beer for Lent. He leaves behind a great legacy. We are so fortunate to have known him. With love, Carrie

We praise God for the life and service of our veteran. May he rest in peace in the arms of our Lord as a grateful nation mourns.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

We would like to express our heart felt sympathy to the family of Michael Oravec. A man who was not only a good husband, father, brother and grandfather but also a man who served his country honorably in World War II.
