Read MoreI think I lived next to Michael around kindergarten in NH. I remember he was my first "boyfriend" before I moved away in 1st grade. We played together all the time! I happened to see his last name in my baby book and thought I would look him up on google. How sad to see that he passed just a few years ago. My sympathy goes to the family.

I knew Mikey from the California Culinary Academy, and though we didn't know each other very well, he is in the background of many of my memories, and has left a great impact on my life. I hope that one day I will meet someone as sweet and courageous as Mikey.
