Not sure what to say?

I think I lived next to Michael around kindergarten in NH. I remember he was my first "boyfriend" before I moved away in 1st grade. We played together all the time! I happened to see his last name in my baby book and thought I would look him up on google. How sad to see that he passed just a few years ago. My sympathy goes to the family.

I knew Mikey from the California Culinary Academy, and though we didn't know each other very well, he is in the background of many of my memories, and has left a great impact on my life. I hope that one day I will meet someone as sweet and courageous as Mikey.

To the family of Cpl. Michael Ouellette:
Please know that just as your loved one remains in your hearts and minds; his sacrifice, and that of your family, remains with the people he died defending. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for his bravery and selflessness, or the heartache we feel for your loss. God bless and keep you always.

To the Ouellette Family,

My deepest sympathy and my most honorable respect for the bravery and selflessness of your son Michael. His actions that fateful day truly reflect the measure of the man and the loving family who raised him. The Navy Cross is tangible proof to the world that he was a Marines Marine. Having lost my own son, LCpl Jordan Haerter in Ramadi in 2008 I fully comprehend your pain and loss. Take pride in the fact that many men now walk the earth because of...
