Not sure what to say?

I spent my very young years in Michael's store on Main Ave in Passaic. I hung out there and often spoke to Mickey about the Beatles while I was as young as six. He once gave me an 8 by 10 glossy of Mohammed Ali. He even let me help him around the store once in while. Mickey Music is part of my DNA. My heart dropped when I found this obituary. God bless him and his family.

Mickey was like a brother to me; even if it was for those 30 mins - 1 HR in his store! If I ever needed anything "rare" by The Beatles he was always willing to find it & order it and he'd talk about it. Made me feel like he was the only Record Store in the world. Never bought LP's anywhere else because HE WAS THE MAN and a dear man at that! In a special kind of way I felt close to him like you would a DJ from WNEW back then. Like you knew him. He influenced my life and he probably never knew...

Mickey made my teenage yrs memorabile I went there every week when I was a kid,He touched so many of us .He will be missed .RIP MICKEY

RIP Mickey. My condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. You were a great guy, really cool. you brought the great gift of music to so many. and gave kids like me a great place to hang out and stay out of trouble. you will be greatly missed

So sorry for the loss of Mickey I grew up around the corner and we all went to Mickey Music he was such a great guy may he rest in peace praying for his family and friends.

Mickey had a place we could always just hang out at, never threw us out even when he should have, never had a bad word to say to anyone. He was a really cool guy and I will miss him greatly.

Deepest, deepest condolences to the family....and that includes not only his personal family, but the family he created with Mickey Music...my dad STILL has all the albums he's bought from him all those years ago.....RIP Mickey...<3

Mickey, you are a Belleville icon that will be sorely missed. A man who introduced music into so many kids lives. I remember hanging there with you, Victor and Wild Bill, such great times. May you rock out in heaven! My sympathies to Barbara.

RIP man! You will truly be missed...
