Michael was a magnanimous man with a large smile and deep laugh. He lived with courage, integrity and grace. He was extremely loving and kind and truly cared for others in the face of great physical adversity. He both lived and died with dignity and grace. Though I wish I had known him better I am honored to have called him uncle. He was a rare and special spirit and he will be greatly missed.
