Michael C. Peace

Uncle Mike was on of the most caring people that I have ever met. He was never afraid to share with us how much he loved us. He was a vibrant spirit and the kindest soul. His passing is a tremendous loss to many many people. I wish strength to his family and to his partner.

My childhood memories are filled with images of the fun summers we spent camping, hiking, swimming, and horseback riding with Mike and the family. He used to give me big hugs when he saw me, muss up my hair and let out his huge laugh. The most special memories to me are of all of us climbing up to that rickety old treehouse in Barona because I always wanted to be up there with him, but I was too afraid to climb up to it, and then too afraid to get myself down. He was so funny and had the greatest laugh. You always knew when he walked into the room.
