Not sure what to say?

Still think about you often. I miss your enthusiasm, artistry and love of life.

My life in music has been a blessed journey and that started in great part by being friends with Shawn. I can still remember hanging with him in the Putt Putt parking in the famous RX-7 lot telling me "the Go Gos are hot!" and turning me on to the Sex Pistols and Adam and the Ants. I always enjoyed seeing Shawn thereafter as we remained friends throughout the 80,s /90's / 00's. God bless you friend.

I'm a Michigan raised skateboarder with fond memories of seeing Shawn's photo in Skateboarder magazine in the late '70s.
His influence shouldn't be understated...

You were a strong and stylish skater and we will keep your memory alive...

In loving memory of an awesome guy. We'll miss you!

Much love to the family and friends of Shawn... He influenced the lives of many skateboarders around the world and was a pioneer that will never be forgotten... Much love in your time of sorrow....

Deeply saddened to hear of your loss. I will always cherish all of the great memories and happy times. Everyone was blessed to have known this talented , generous , and very special individual.

The Florida skateboard community has lost a true hero. Shawn was true innovator and an inspiration to younger skaters ..Nothing made a Florida skater more proud than seeing him grace the pages Skateboarder Magazine and make the world recognize the talent from this state. We have indeed lost a hero. Bless his family and Godspeed Shawn.

Shawn was such an important and influential person to the Florida skateboard community. His skill was tops, only match by his humble kind personality. So many skaters will truly miss him. My prayers are with his family and friends.
